A Shipment to Bangladesh

Last Friday, we sent out a consolidated shipment from Yantian Port in Shenzhen, heading for Bangladesh.

The goods are for a manufacturer in Dhaka. This is their first order with us. It includes two brass items we make: brass hollow rivets and brass caps for lampholders.

The customer found us through an industry website. After a few video calls and sending them samples, they decided to try us out. The brass hollow rivets are for their electrical connection assemblies, and the brass caps will be used as decorative ends on their lighting products.

We packed everything securely in several cartons. The brass caps were wrapped individually to prevent scratches during the longer transit. All the commercial documents—invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin, were prepared carefully to avoid any delays at the port in Chittagong.

The cartons were picked up by the freight forwarder and have now left Yantian by sea. The journey should take a couple of weeks.

We're always happy to see our parts going to new places. A small first shipment like this is often how a good, long-term partnership starts. We'll follow up once the customer receives the goods and starts production.
